GDC Prep

GDC is in two weeks! There is lots to get done before I go, and new business cards where on the top of my list. So I finished up my designs and sent them off for printing. I have four different cars to add some variety; Check it out.

This was created after reading a short story about a man who spends a little to much time looking at Axolotls at the aquarium.

This is the final for my projects class, 4 months of work down and this is what I have to show.

2nd Junior Project "Pride"

This semester there are fewer rules to follow. I really want to animate--so keeping that in mind, I designed a project that is action based.

The idea is that this is a commercial for "Pride" laundry soap. Alex, a young football player, will be seen running with a football towards the end zone dodging real/imaginary defensive players (depends on time). Just as he reaches the end zone he will dive, resulting in a splash of color.

The overall look and design is inspired by Psyop's Fanta adds. The enviroment will be a simple football field, mostly gray scale with some green for the grass.

Animation Prep for Ani300

I am doing a simple 5 sec animation of a character reacting to a bomb on the ground. The rig is a really simple rig call Lars provided by the instructor. These are my thumnails and my first step of the animation.

Harlem Sunset

For my first junior project we where told to roll dice for a theme and character type. I got fearful for character in a mysterious setting.

Being that the scene had to be indoor, had to have a chair, a desk, and a window I decided on film noir as my overall feel.

My character's name is Dick, he is a low level snitch in the Italian mob in the 1920's. He has leaked something about the mob and now there out to get him. My 5-8sec short will show the climax of this action
